Comedy Central is an American cable channel owned by Paramount Skydance Corporation through its network division's MTV Entertainment Group unit, based in Manhattan. The channel carries comedy programming in the form of original, licensed, and syndicated television series, stand-up comedy specials, and feature films.
As of November 2023, Comedy Central is available to approximately 68 million pay television households in the United States, down from its 2011 peak of 99 million households.[1]
