Sara Sultan[a] (pronounced [saːɾa əˈli xaːn]; born 12 August 1995), professionally known as Sara Ali Khan, is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. Born into the Pataudi family, she is the daughter of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan. Khan is the recipient of a Filmfare Award and has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list of 2019.[3]
After graduating with a degree in history and political science from Columbia University, Khan began her acting career in 2018 with commercially successful films—the romantic drama Kedarnath and the action comedy Simmba.[4] The former earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.[5] Alongside several poorly received films, she starred in the drama Atrangi Re (2021) and had a commercial success in the romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).
