Roy Oliver Disney (/ˈdɪzni/ DIZ-nee;[1] June 24, 1893 – December 20, 1971)[2] was an American entrepreneur. He co-founded the Walt Disney Company (then-called Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio and later operating with the names Walt Disney Studio and Walt Disney Productions) with his younger brother, Walt Disney. He also served as the company's first CEO and was the father of Roy E. Disney.
