Israel lobby in the United States
The Israel lobby in the United States comprises individuals and groups who seek to promote polices favorable to the State of Israel and oppose those they see as hostile to Israel's interests or Zionism. The largest American pro-Israel lobbying group is Christians United for Israel, which has over seven million members.[1] The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is an influential organization within the lobby.
The Israel lobby has funded primary campaigns against members of the two major political parties in the U.S. (the Republican Party and the Democratic Party) who are viewed as hostile to Israel.[2][3][4]
